At KTL Europe we are closely monitoring the situation following the coronavirus outbreak in China. For any information please do get in touch with our team.

The outbreak of COVID-19 in China has hit the news this week causing disruption to all areas.

As Freight Forwarders were we pleased to see China’s Covid restrictions have been relaxed and we hoped the industry would start to get back to normal. Sadly it has lead to an outbreak in the virus with worker shortages and factory closures.

As a result of the latest epidemic many factories and logistics companies have decided to start the new year holiday early. We are hoping the holiday will see everyone return to normal after. At KTL we will keep you updated of any disruptions that will affect you.

The Chinese Spring Festival Holiday is almost here and many local factories will be on holiday from 21st January to the 27th January. Cargo will be aimed to be loaded at the beginning of the month for shipping.

The Chinese New Year is also known as Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, is the biggest festival in China, with a 7-day long holiday.

With all of this in mind space is still very tight, so we are encouraging you to book as early as possible.
