The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 1st October and will last until the 8th October. The festival begins as a celebration of the moon and has a tradition of deity. It is time to reconnect with family members and is centred around reunions and happiness.

The upcoming holiday will impact prices and space on imports to the UK and Europe. We expect to see that the prices will increase and the space will decrease. There is already facing pressures with the lack of space and we expect to see the Carriers increase their margin on west bound shipping from Asia and China.
