The latest changes for Importing.

In line with guidance from HMRC/Border Force with effect from 31st January 2025, all goods entering the UK by commercial transport will require an inbound safety and security declaration.

At KTL Europe we can help submit the declaration for you. Some of the information we will need to enter will include…

  • documents and licences for your imports such as airway bills or commercial invoices
  • goods description
  • consignor and consignee
  • type, amount and packaging of your goods
  • mode of transport at the border
  • onward journey details
  • Safety and Security Great Britain location code for the port of entry

If the carrier is unable to complete the declaration we are equipped to submit S&S/ENS declarations directly to HMRC. KTL are committed to keeping your cargo moving without delay!

Please be aware that failure to provide accurate and timely declarations may result in delays, fines, or refused entry of goods into Great Britain.

If you have any questions please do get in touch with our team or take a look at the government website.
