At KTL Europe we have been updated about the current situation at Ningbo Port.

Beilun, core of Ningbo Port in East China, has tightened epidemic control measures after new COVID-19 cases were reported, which posed new challenges to a part of China that plays an important role in foreign trade.

Containers that had been gated-in are still operating normally, the depot has however been temporarily closed.

The local government announced the three-day temporary district-wide static management starting from Friday. All local residents are required to take nucleic acid tests every day during the three-day period.

Green channel is open to drivers who travel  from the dock to the freeway and it is highly subjected to the local quarantine policies of different cities.
There are strict measures that have been taking place in Jinhua, Quzhou, Wenzhou, Zhuji and Zhoushan, and there are cases where drivers are required to be isolated for a long loading time, as per local epidemic prevention sites.

An employee with Ningbo Tongzhou Logistics said that the control measures are now in place at port yards in Beilun, and some trucks of the company are staying in areas where static management have been put in place

There are no other disruptions at other port cities for the time being and all ports in China are operating as normal.

We will keep all of our customers updated.
