We are thrilled to once again be asked to assist Gerry Judah in the movement of his latest spectacular sculpture to Canada

KTL Europe arranged and delivered the sculpture from Littlehampton, UK to Calgary, Canada. It was carefully packed and moved in 6 x 40' Open Top containers.

The sculpture ‘Spirit of the Water’ depicts a giant splash of water and is a wonderful focal point at the newly expanded 40,000 square foot plaza.

At its new home at the BMO Centre in Calgary, Canada. It stands 21 metres high and weighing 56 tonnes,

Painted with a custom-mixed fluoropolymer blue colour top-coat and comprised of an asymmetric array of 211 vertical steel tubes ranging in diameter from 17 centimetres to 2 metres, the sculpture’s innovative design features pure steel and air, seamlessly integrated to create a visually striking composition.

Spirit of Water was engineered by Diales, fabricated in the UK and assembled and installed in Calgary by Littlehampton Welding Ltd, the sculpture’s journey from conception to completion demonstrates the power of global collaboration in realising ambitious artistic visions.

The team are thrilled to be involved in the transporting of such an amazing sculpture. We last moved ‘Drift’ to New Zealand for Gerry and it is great to be part of this sculpture.

A note from Myles “It was our pleasure to assist Gerry on his latest shipment along with everyone else involved in the process, we are delighted to see the finished sculpture in its final position in Calgary, and it looks absolutely fantastic”
